Absolutely loved my stay at the Islander, felt like pure hostel luxury with a tv, fridge en suite and a balcony. I even just about had a sea view. Would recommend very highly. Best place I have stayed.

enjoyed my stay there, you can use the hotel facilities as well like the tennis court or sauna, quite cool :)

We stayed there during Blues on Broadbeach and had a great time! It was only a $3.90 bus fare to the festival and very central to Surfers Paradise.

The rooms were clean and private and the staff were very friendly.

One thing we were confused about was locating the kitchen and common room, as it is quite a large backpackers hostel, but once we found them (about 1 day into our stay), we got to enjoy the benefits of Islander Backpackers Resort.

luxury hostel, tv and fridge in room, felt like being in hotel...ensuite amazing! tv room was lush, kitchen clean - really liked my stay here.

Think it was really nice, and even though it is a little prizy, it is worth it! Really good rooms, and nice to have a fridge! Loved the spa!
One bad think: I ask if there was a luggage room the day i arrived, and the woman say yes. The day when i left, i went down with all my luggage and it turned out that there only were lockers you need to pay for.

This was my first time at a back packers,as a Kiwi, this made my visit to Surfers so easy,everything you need is near by, Great, will do it again.The staff were friendly and helpful, Rooms and view, Wow, Luxury, great price, Will highly recommend this place to any one.
