Islander Backpackers Resort is the biggest and best hostel on the Gold Coast. This Surfers Paradise backpackers is affiliated with Nomads World, and we offer a high standard of accommodation at an extremely affordable price.
You’ll find us right next door to the bus transit centre and smack bang in the middle of Surfers Paradise. Islander Backpackers is close to everything you could possibly need and only a short walk to Surfers Paradise beach, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, nightlife, public transport and Surfers Paradise attractions.
The hostel is attached to a 3 star hotel so you get to use all of the resort facilities for free! Not to mention the other fantastic facilities available to you.
Great value packages are available including accommodation and entry into some of the Gold Coasts top tourist attractions. Packages include our 2 night ‘Whirlwind Package’ including Dreamworld pass and Plan B ‘Party Pass’ to hit the Surfers clubs, our 3 night ‘Surfing & Sliding Package’ with a 2 hours surfing lessson plus Dreamworld or SkyPoint Observation Deck pass and Paradise Jet Boating adventure and our 4 night ‘Soak It Up Package’ including entry to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, SkyPoint Observation Deck pass and Paradise Jet Boating adventure. All packages are based on dorm room accommodation (4, 5 or 6 share dorm).
All Guests Please Note!
Guests must be 18 years or older to stay with us and must present their passport on arrival. Australian passport holders must also present a Nomads MAD card or similar hostel membership card (eg. VIP, YHA) on check-in when staying in the backpacker rooms.
