New Years Eve will explode in Surfers Paradise
as the precinct once again plays host to Queensland's largest fireworks display
along with the Gold Coast's official midnight countdown.
The Surfers Paradise countdown will see
fireworks launched from iconic buildings Q1 and Circle on Cavill and Surfers
Paradise Beach as they mark the final 10 seconds of 2010, before being joined by
displays from across the Gold Coast shoreline to create a spectacular show that
will light up one of Australia's most famous skylines.
There will be a family show at 9pm before the
main display at midnight.
