In March 2000 Tom Tate advertised $2 per night rates at his Islander Resort Hotel in Surfers Paradise, it was immediately the most popular venue on the Gold Coast strip.
Today, Tom has announced another $2 rate, but this time savvy tourists get an international holiday for their gold coin.
Anyone staying at the Islander Resort Hotel Surfers Paradise between July and December 2010 will also get a two bedroom apartment at the Sanctuary Resort, Cherating, Malaysia for just $2 per night.
“The Islander Resort Hotel in Surfers Paradise has never been afraid to have a go, that’s the spirit of the place and that’s the spirit of the people that stay with us,” said Tom Tate owner of Islander Resort Hotel.
“We figure if you can have a good time with us on the Gold Coast, then you will have a great time in Malaysia, we want our customers to have the best of both worlds.”
“When you consider taking up this $2.00 a night offer and combine with super cheap Air Asia flights out of the Gold Coast, you end up with a very affordable holiday for you, your family, fiancé or partner. “
“Travellers know a good deal, and we reckon this is the best deal by a Gold Coast hotel in the past 10 years, stay at the famous Islander Resort Hotel in Surfers Paradise and take your next trip to Malaysia for just $2 a night.”
“Value for money is what we are all looking for during these times.”
